Yes, replacement requests can be made for lost, stolen, destroyed, or damaged registration cards. Requirements depend on the vehicle and its registration status.
Will a replacement renew my registration?
No. Replacing the card does not extend the registration period or resolve an expired or suspended registration. Tell us if you also need help with renewal.
What if I have moved?
Let us know before proceeding. Your address on the DMV record may need to be updated. Do not assume that entering a shipping address updates your DMV record.
